Formula student electric (FSE)
Race car body design (2015)
The Formula Student Hungary (http://hu.fshungary.hu/) is a racing organization between universities. It is like F1 but in smaller sizes. I cooperated with the team of the Technical University of Budapest,
The BME FRT (frt.bme.hu), and my job was to create a car body design to the all-electric race car.
Dimanism, agility, speed were my guidelines to create the shape.
The process was not only about the styling, it has specific parameters needed to be. The aerodinamic body has to be lightweight, so we used carbon fiber and epoxy.
The body has to be easily disassembled, so it consist four parts.The team members can quiclkly remove them. The team has new cars since then, but the car is still in use.
